Owned by La Rioja Alta S.A. since 1988, Lagar de Cervera has established an enviable reputation for producing superb Albariño. Located at El Rosal, in Galicia, north-west Spain, this 100% estate-owned Albariño vineyard is the biggest in the D.O. Rías Baixas. Their wines are meticulously made and rank with the very best from the region. Over the past 25 years, they have completely renovated the winery, keeping true to the local architecture and natural setting, but providing it with the most modern techniques available.

“Oyster shells, kelp, chalk and some melons on the nose. Saline and zesty on the palate with a medium body and a salty finish. Round in texture, but has a sharpness, too, from the saline minerality and acidity. Delicious and gastronomic.” -
